Lite version of Zen Bound now available

April 7, 2009

Zen Bound is considered one of the best apps available for the iPhone and iPod Touch. The game is simply wrapping the least amount of string possible around a wooden object. The game is suppose to be relaxing and involves patience. Because the music is so unique and soothing, it is recommended that you play with headphones. This app is highly recommend. It sells for $4.99 in the app store. Below is an icon to click on to take you to the app store to download the lite version of Zen Bound.

Skype reaches 1 million downloads in two days

April 3, 2009

Skype reached a million downloads in only its first 2 days of release. Skype is a Voice IP application that lets you make phone calls to other Skype users or even land lines from your iPhone. There is an issue going on that Skype is taking business away from mobile carriers. Skype is suppose to be restricted only to WIFI. However, I have been able to sign on to Skype but I can’t make calls. A lot of questions will come up based on the ethics of Skype on the iPhone. If you haven’t already downloaded Skype, go do it!

You can click on the icon I provided below to go directly to the app store to download it.

geoDefense is a tower defense game for the iPhone. It is currently on sale for $0.99 this week. After this week it will return to its normal price of $3.99. Free lite versions of iDracula and Ancient Frog

April 1, 2009

The lite versions of both iDracula and Ancient Frog are now available in the app store. iDracula is a third person survival horror shooter. Its a very addictive and fun game to play. It was released March 16 and was available as an introductory price of $0.99 until it was updated and brought up back up to $2.99. It was #1 on the paid app list for a while until its price increase went into effect. It’s a shame that it fell off the top 100 paid apps list.  I purchased this when it was $0.99 and it is amazing. If you have yet to buy this game, atleast try the lite version and then buy the full version. You wont regret it! A review is soon to come.

I have heard about Ancient Frog and it’s a popular app amongst iPhone owners. Last night I downloaded the lite version and tried it out. For those of you who don’t know, Ancient Frog is a puzzle game using a frog. You have to move the frog on a leaf close to a fly so it can eat it.  The catch is that you have to move with in the area that is given to you. The graphics are very nice and the sounds are realistic. However, this game wasn’t for me. If you are a puzzle person and want something new and unique, download the lite version of Ancient Frog and try it out. The full version is $4.99.
